Glow Through the Dark ✨

✨ Tired-Looking Skin? Here's How to Brighten Things Up!
Hi everyone, Camilla here! 🤍
The darker days are definitely here now. As soon as we switched the clocks back to winter time, the afternoons suddenly became so much darker. But what can we do to bring a little more light into our everyday makeup?
Well, let's have a look at where you can apply your highlighter to add a little extra glow during the winter months! ✨
🌿 Start by prepping your skin
Of course, I start by prepping my skin with Thirst Trap Hydrating Serum and Glow On Day Cream. This gives my makeup a hydrated base and helps bring out that little extra glow from the skin.
For my foundation, I choose Creme Foundation and Color Corrector, mixing the shades I like and adding Mixing Base for lighter coverage and more radiance.
I also use Cream under my eyes and on my eyelids to brighten those areas and help me look a little more awake. ✨
Then I use the shade Nougat as bronzer on my face.
These products work really well on different areas of the face, and there are lots of different shades to choose from, so you can find the ones that suit you best.
✨ Setting your base
When it comes to setting powder, you can do a little bit of whatever works best for you!
If you want lots of glow and your skin tends to be on the drier side, you might prefer to apply powder under your eyes and in your T-zone.
If you're more like me and have oilier skin, you might want to set your foundation across your whole face.
Setting powder also helps your makeup last longer. It doesn't have to make your skin look completely matte, you can still keep some of that lovely glow, just with a little less shine.
I then frame my face by filling in my brows with a brow pencil or an eyeshadow in a shade that matches my brows.
I've found a new favourite here and use the Brow Pen Blonde. 🤍

🌟 Add a little extra glow
Now we're moving on to Hyperflex Shadow!
I use the shade Solskysst, which is a warm colour, as my blush. It adds a lovely warmth to the face.
Then I take Guld and apply it along my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, on my cupid's bow, chin and forehead.
These are the high points of my face where the light naturally hits first, so adding a little glow to these areas helps brighten up the whole look. ✨
You don't need to apply highlighter everywhere to get that extra glow. Sometimes, just a few little touches in the right places make all the difference!
🍂 A lovely, glowy autumn eye look
Now let's move on to the eyes, where I'm creating a lovely, glowy autumn look.
I start with Äppelblom, applying it all over the lid and blending it up towards the brow bone.
Then I take Bark into the crease and blend until I'm happy with how everything looks.
Next, I apply the shimmer pigment Antique Gold all over the mobile eyelid, blending upwards so that all the colours melt together nicely. I also apply it along the lower lash line.
Then it's time for mascara! 💄✨
🤎 Finishing with the lips
For the lips, I use the Nostalgia Lipliner Mocha.
Then I apply Lipgloss Dakar, which creates such a beautiful lip look!
To finish everything off, I use Balance Bae Face Mist for some extra hydration and to help my makeup last longer.
And that's the look finished! A little extra glow for those darker days. 🤍
