🌸 Soft Reset Glow

🌸 Soft Reset Glow

🌷 Spring feelings & a fresh start

Hi, Camilla here.

Spring is finally here. You can really feel it, right? That little reset energy. Lighter days, more light, and somehow you just want to refresh everything, including your makeup routine.

So in today’s blog post, I’m sharing how I update my base for spring.
Lighter layers, glow where I actually want it, and makeup that holds all day without feeling heavy. I created a simple, fresh look that anyone can do. Nothing complicated. Just small updates that make a difference.

✨ Glow starts with skincare

Glow doesn’t start with highlighter. It starts with skincare.

If your makeup should last, the skin underneath needs to be prepped. Hydrated skin makes everything sit better and look more natural.

I start by cleansing with Cleansing Foam. It’s a soft foam that cleans gently without leaving my skin tight, just clean and comfortable.

Then I go in with Thirst Trap Serum for hydration and glow. (I didn’t have it at home when filming, so that part is an insert, but it’s part of the routine.)

Last step: Glow On Day Cream.
Hydration, anti-ageing benefits, soft skin and a light citrus scent that doesn’t irritate me at all.

Three steps are more than enough.
In the morning I keep it simple. In the evening I do a bit more, that’s my little spa moment.

💛 The Spring Base – light but long-lasting

Once the skincare has settled in, it’s time for the base.

I use Mineral Liquid Powder Foundation and mix two shades to get a better match. I almost always mix, it just works better for me. It’s oil-free, buildable and lasts all day. Slightly matte, but still natural. That balance is important. I apply it with a brush and then go over with a sponge. A spring base should feel like skin. Not like a mask.

To make sure it lasts all day, I use a powder puff and set the entire face with Setting Powder “Vanilla.” It has a transparent base, so it works for everyone, and it’s very finely milled so it smooths everything without settling into fine lines.

If you prefer something lighter, you can sweep it on with a brush.
Powder Brush P01 works perfectly for both powder and bronzer.

🎨 Multipurpose magic

One of my favorite things is simplifying my routine.

Hyperflex Shadows are perfect for that because you can use them for almost everything. Eyes, blush, bronzer, brows, liner, highlight.

I start with Bark in my brows to fill in the small gaps. I’ll be honest, I’m a bit lazy with brows on a daily basis, but it does look nice when I actually do it.

I use the same shade on the lids and blend slightly upward. I have hooded eyes, so I bring the shadow a little higher so it actually shows. I also add it under the lower lash line so everything connects.

For bronzer, I use Honung. It’s a bit warmer than my usual favorite Kakao, and I like that warmth for spring. As blush, I use Linnea, which is slightly cooler. And somehow that mix, warm and cool. Feels very spring to me. I add Apel as highlighter and tap a little on the eyes as well. I like a soft shimmer there.

To lock everything in even more, you can finish with Balance Bea Calming Mist. That’s the final touch. (Also an insert in the video because I didn’t have it at home that day.)

And that’s it.

Spring base updated. Light layers. Glow where you want it. And it lasts.

As always, tutorials are live on my Instagram and TikTok the same day if you want to see everything step by step.

I really enjoy creating content like this, from idea to finished look. I learn constantly, and I hope you feel inspired too.
