How to make your makeup survive heat, sweat & late summer nights 🌊

Summer and vacation season is finally here. Some of us are traveling abroad, some are heading to summer houses, and honestly… some of the best days are just spent at the nearest beach with friends and snacks 🎀

This time of year usually means longer days, late nights and makeup that needs to survive a little bit of everything, heat, glow, sweat and still feel lightweight on the skin.

So in today’s post I created a simple summer look that lasts without feeling heavy ✨

🌿 Skin prep first — always

I start by prepping my skin with älliés Thirst Trap Serum and lock everything in with Glow On Day Cream.

Hydrated skin = less need for heavy layers 🤍

It also gives your makeup a much smoother base and helps everything sit prettier throughout the day.

💄 My base for warm weather

For foundation I use älliés Mineral Liquid Foundation because the oil-free formula and matte finish work so well during summer.

I apply it with a sponge to remove excess product and keep the base thin and skin-like. Then I build up coverage only where I want it instead of applying too much everywhere.

That’s honestly one of my biggest summer makeup tips ✨

Thin layers always look fresher in the heat.

✨ Lock it in without looking cakey

Then I use älliés Setting Powder and focus mainly on my T-zone and the areas where I get glowy the fastest.

I press the powder in with a puff first for extra longevity and then lightly sweep the rest across my face with a brush.

This keeps the makeup in place for hours without looking dry or heavy 🌊

☀️ Bronzed & lifted

For bronzer I use Hyperflex Shadow in Kakao one of my absolute favorites lately. I use it all the time because I’ve finally found a shade I really love for bronzing and adding warmth.

For blush I use Hyperflex Shadow in Nektarin and place it a little bit higher than the bronzer, almost towards the eyes, to create a lifted effect.

And honestly… it looks even prettier when the bronzer and blush melt slightly together 🎀

Then I add a little bit of Hyperflex Shimmer Shadow in Quartz on the cheekbones for glow.

👀 Soft eyes that stay on all day

On the eyes I keep it simple with the First Date Hyperflex Liner.

It’s super pigmented, easy to apply and once it dries down, it stays there ✨ Perfect for long summer days and late nights.

Then mascara, Lipgloss Squad in Lusaka, and finally I finish the whole look with Balance Bae Face Mist for extra hydration and longer wear.

Easy, quick and heatproof ☀️🌊
