Bold look for bold women on International Women’s Day

Hey loves,
It’s Camilla here, älliés makeup-loving ambassador, glow enthusiast and professional trust-the-process believer.
And it’s time for a new blog post. A new look.
A bold look for bold women.
With International Women’s Day around the corner, I wanted to create something unapologetic. Smokey eyes. Red lips. Confidence turned all the way up.
And yes — there was a moment where I looked slightly unhinged mid-process. But we trust the process around here 😌
Let’s get into the look.

✨ Skin first — always
Before any bold eye or statement lip, we prep.
I start with Glow On Day Cream. Hydrated skin is key for longevity and that smooth base. Makeup sits better when the skin underneath feels good — period.
To brighten under my eyes and even out certain areas, I use Creme Foundation in “Cream”. I apply a small amount to lift and enhance where I want light.
Then I mix two shades of Mineral Liquid Foundation to get my perfect match. I apply it with a brush, then go over with a sponge to press everything in for that seamless finish.
For brows, I lightly fill in gaps using Hyperflex Shadow “Bark”, just enough to define without overpowering the smokey eye.
✨ Set & sculpt
I set my base with Setting Powder “Vanilla”.
Then — one of my favorite hacks — I use Setting Powder “Yadi” as bronzer.
Yes. Setting powder as bronzer. It’s quick, soft, long-wearing and blends beautifully.
Blush moment?
Hyperflex Shadow “Förälskad.” Warm, bold, feminine. Perfect for this look.
🔥 The eyes — trust the process
You can start with eyes or base — I usually start with base (habit), but both work.
I begin with First Date Hyperflex Liner (Pitch Black) under the eyes.
This is where things start looking slightly chaotic. But stay with me.
On the lid, I pack on Hyperflex Shadow “Lakrits.” Don’t sweep — press it in. Then blend upward.
Next: Hyperflex Shadow “Choklad.” Blend until the black melts softly into brown.
Then I go even lighter with “Gräddkola”, blending all the way up toward the brow bone for those seamless transitions.
You can absolutely do a smokey eye only with browns, or lean more grey — but this time I went bold.
The final touch?
Shimmer Pigment “Black Metallic.”
That shimmer softened the intense black and pulled everything together in the most beautiful way.
Since I did base first, I went back in with a little Creme Foundation “Cream” under the eyes to clean up any fallout. Shadows fall. We fix. We move on.
💄 The lips — the power move
I used the Nostalgia Lipliner Pen in shade Berry.
Four shades in one pen? Iconic. I created a slightly fuller liner shape.
Then I finished with a bold red lip in Mrs Lindh Lipstick.
And just like that — the look was complete.
Smokey. Bold. Unapologetic.
A bold look for bold women.
